Sel Magique is a vision distilled from Matt's passion for great food and his discovery of a ‘magic’ regional salt blend in the rugged French countryside. Matt and his friends came across this blend while working in France designing the new Paris hotel, Le Citizen.

A native of Southern California, Murphy can understand the beauty of simplicity. He grew up in the country and his family grew avocados. The kitchen, cooking, and entertaining were a part of life.
